A resume is a description of your education, paid and unpaid employment (work experience and school activities too), your general interests and personal strengths.

It needs to be easy-to-read, neat and well set-out. It should demonstrate that you have thought about the job vacancy and can apply your strengths to the position. In other words you need to tailor your resume to suit the job and company – it needs to meet their requirements.
